Douglas May began his career in jewelry design in 1973. A winner of several design awards, he is highly recognized for his creative capabilities.

"Nature and technology motivate my creations. I find inspiration in my surroundings - the redwoods, wildflowers, architecture and industrial materials. But rather than going for the immediate natural and tangible, I strive for something broader, more abstract and symbolic."
