Simons Salad Bowl with Servers TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK
$145.00
31158-30668
This beautiful salad set by Jonathan Simons makes an excellent wedding gift. The bowl is made of cherry and has a blackened interior. The matching "cat tail" salad servers are also cherry with blackened stripes .

Flame Blackened Cherry Wood
Jonathan Simons has always enjoyed burning things, at times this has gotten him into trouble. He has now harnessed this desire and created a dynamic contrast in the presentation of his most useful utensils.

Some people are afraid of the dark but Jonathan was assured by Dr. Wayne Diamond, a noted naturopath and author, that a little charcoal is good for the digestion and completely nontoxic. Hand wash with soap and water and oil occasionally to bring out the natural color. Jonathan recommend light mineral oil.

Spoon Care
Jonathan's spoons are especially smooth so they are easy to clean. A Scotchbright™ pad in hot soapy water actually sands the spoon while cleaning. Coconut oil is best to bring out the natural luster of the wood. With simple care, your spoons will serve you for many years.

Kalish Wedding Kaleidoscope
New Page 1

David Kalish's WEDDING KALEIDOSCOPE is a marriage of two kaleidoscopes blended into one. Each side contains a different mirror system which reflect two colorful, ever-changing views. The object cell includes a veritable rainbow of polished gemstones suspended in mineral oil. inside_w.jpg(See interior image photo.)

As a metaphor for marriage or partnership, this scope demonstrates that two people can observe the same thing, even at the same time, and receive an entirely different impression of what it is they're seeing. The literature, (supplied with each scope), explains that "Each of the partners can rejoice in the knowledge that their diverse perspectives will enrich their shared experience". To carry out the theme, each turned-wood eyepiece is accented with 23k gold plated ring inlays.

THE WEDDING KALEIDOSCOPE is 10” long x 1.75” diameter, handsomely displayed on a wood base.  Available in lacquered brass and satin chrome. Custom gift box is included.
